Job Vacancy: Kitchen Assistant

Hours: 16 hours per week

Salary: £10.60+ per hour

 

Due to a period of continued growth, we are looking for a part time member of staff to join the team, assisting in the day-to day running of the kitchen, based in central Chorlton. 

​

We are looking for an efficient individual to keep on top of the day to day tasks that come with working in a kitchen.

​

The responsibilities include and are not exclusive to:

• Food preparation

• Liaising with customers

• Packing orders

• Cleaning

• Monitoring and recording fridge and freezer temperatures

• Stock management

• General business errands

• Occasional weekend market work

 

We feel the right person will:​

• Be confident and comfortable liaising with customers 

• Have an understanding of food hygiene principles

• Be super organised and able to manage several food preparation projects simultaneously 

 

 

The role is based from our kitchen in Albany Road Trading Estate in Chorlton.  It is a flexible role and hours can fit around other commitments. Whilst experience in food preparation is preferred, full training will be provided and all applicants will be considered. The role has a view to increase hours as the business grows
